The search giant—Google, which is
looking forward to building a more comprehensive source for movies, apps,
music, and e-books, has re-branded its Android Market as Google Play today. Google
Music, Google e-Bookstore, and the Android Market are integrated to form as Google
Play. Not only will you purchase music, movies, books and apps in Google Play,
but also those items will be stored in the cloud. You can do the same operation
on your Android phone or tablet using the various Google Play apps.
According
to Google’s engineering director-Chris Yerga, in order to let more users know
the wide range of contents providing by Google, it is essential for Google to re-build Android Market as Google play. Still now, some
users think that the Android icon on the desktop can only download application for smartphones and Tablet. So, I
will share the new comprehensive source in Google Play in the following parts.
Storage for 20,000 free or
non-free songs
You
can store up to 20,000 songs to enjoy more musical life in Google Player.
Any music you already purchased or uploaded is still available, and you can
continue uploading your favorite music.
More than 450,000 Android apps
downloaded
A
great amount of Andriod games can be easily downloaded for game lovers in
Google Player. As far as I know, to celebrate the launch of New Google Play
Store, its former Andriod Market’s top 25 paid apps are now available for 49
cents each. Some popular games such as Shadowgun, NFL Flick Quarterback are
included. You can go and check it if any interest.
Browse a big selection of eBooks
in world’s largest eBooks market
Google
Play merges the eBooks in Android Market and Google eBooks websites to form a
more comprehensive eBook downloading library, so that users can gain latest
book information.
Rent movies galore, including the
latest film and HD movies
Google
Play can provide the latest films or HD movies for users watching. If you prefer
to see free movies like me, you can search the source on the internet and download the videos to your iPad.
All in
all, bundling all the Android services into one area and under one brand will
make it easier to market and hopefully help our users discover them as well.
